The Family Tables are dinner experiences that aids in building a bridge between the LGBTQ and Straight community. Building a stronger legacy of Community is the only option to dismantle our cultural divisions, putting “Our" Family’s future 1st.
There is no better place for the 1st installment of this dinner than Atlanta, the city showed up and showed out in the recent elections. "US" becoming even stronger as a United front can ensure that our voices are forever heard and recognized!
I’ve always felt that our community needed to be stronger together. I feel that our communication and the way we see each other has been so tainted by certain technology that I believe was planted as a weapon to further perpet- uates a caste system designed to conquer and divide us.
When I look at how powerful we are while being divided I can’t help but be excited about how mighty we will be once we become United. To do so we have to master our emotions, go deeper with our vigilance, and truly HONOR the verb LOVE!

We understand what Love is, we understand what community is but where we fall short is the way that we distribute our love for community, and we know better. We know better because we innately have spirits that dwell in us inspired by our ancestors, where all they knew was to have each other’s back. We have the shoulders of DR. King and BayardRustin, Fannie Lou Hamer and Marsha P Johnson. We have the words from James Baldwin, Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, Audre Lorde, and Toni Morrison. We have the references we need to continue the work of one of our Hero’s John Lewis. We can not afford to be a fraid of becoming allies of one another because of disinformation campaigns that rally to make us think that there is some “Gay Agenda” or That there’s a Women’s cult are out there to tear down our black men. We also can not afford make our black men feel unloved and caste them to be un-nurturing.
We have work to do and we have to do it together.
